Disable / enable startup programs and services.

Sometimes it is wise decision to check what programs are loading at startup. All this software steals system resources so you must be sure that everything that loads on startup really should be there.

1. Select Start -> Run. Type "msconfig":

2. Select "Startup" section. Check out every singe file that is starting when Windows starts. Make sure that you don't touch anything that you don't know:

3. Select "Services" section and enable / disable services like you did it with startup programs:

4. Apply changes and reboot computer. Enjoy faster loading and improved performance!
