How to run ISO, BIN, CUE, MDS, NRG and other files?

ISO, BIN, NRG (and more file extentions) - all these files are CD-ROM images. CD-ROM images are mainly used as source files from which to create CDs. However it is possible to run image files without burning them in CD. To do that you should download Daemon Tools.

Daemon Tools is an advanced application for multiprotection emulation. Virtual DVDROM drive (Generic DVD-ROM) is included enabling you to use your CD images as if they were already burned to CD! Daemon Tools works under Windows9x/ME/NT/2000/XP with all types of CD/DVDROM drives (IDE/SCSI) and supports nearly any CD protection.

Daemon Tools supports the following image files: CUE/BIN, ISO, CCD (CloneCD), BWT (Blindwrite), MDS (Media Descriptor File), CDI (Discjuggler), NRG (Nero), PDI (Instant CD/DVD), B5T (BlindWrite 5).

Step by step guide to Daemon Tools:

1. Install and run Daemon Tools. Take a look at right down corner of your monitor and find red icon:

2. Click right mouse button and select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM -> Device -> Mount image:

3. Choose image file and open it:

4. Go to "My Computer". As you can see, new virtual drive is ready and image file is loaded into it. Now you can use it as regular CD in starndart CD-ROM.
